Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park to Host Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day

Big Stone Gap, VA. The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park is excited to announce their Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day. The Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day will seek to celebrate partnerships, learn more about resources, and get every girl outdoors.

The Girl Scouts Love State Parks Day will be on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Girls who participate in this program will tour the museum and grounds for a historical adventure of what life was like in the late 1800s. Along with earning the Girl Scouts Love State Park Badge they can also work on activities to earn individual badges.

Admission is free. Troops will be responsible for the adult to child ratio.
