Georgia Randall was born in Norfolk Virginia and began singing gospel in the church when only 5 years of age. Her early influences were in soul and blues, listening to the likes of Etta James, Big Mama Thornton, Bessie Smith, and Billie Holiday. Georgia is an accomplished and award-winning musician, singer/songwriter with four self-released albums. She has recently returned to her home of Virginia and continues to write and perform her music with her unique blend of soul, blues, and rock. Her album, Hound Dog, charted on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Albums in Contemporary Blues and on the Top Virginia Albums Chart after its release in February of 2021. Georgia’s voice has been compared to Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, and Melissa Etheridge but make no mistake, her style is all her own.
