Join Pro-Art and the Symphony of the Mountains Percussion Quartet for a fun and fascinating evening of rhythm, energy, and unexpected sounds. The concert features catchy melodies and mesmerizing beats played on a variety of instruments—including drums, marimbas, blocks of wood, and even colorful plastic boomwhackers!

The Symphony of the Mountains Percussion Quartet will perform at Lyric Theater in St. Paul on Tuesday, Oct. 28th at 7 p.m. in conjunction with our 49th season and the W. You’ll hear the upbeat melody of Watercolor Sun by Ivan Trevino, drumming and tunes in Second Thoughts by Evan Chapman, and the intense, driving rhythms of Spiderweb Lead by Adam Silverman. The program also includes pieces by Steve Reich, Emma O’Halloran, and Anders Åstrand that explore sound in surprising and beautiful ways.
