FALL IN LOVE WITH LAUGHTER AS ALEX & OLMSTED‘S HUBBA HUBBA TAKES CENTER STAGE THIS VALENTINE’S DAY!
From the Jim Henson Foundation grant award-winning Alex & Olmsted comes “HUBBA HUBBA,” a new show about romantic love that Broadway World calls, “…equal parts awkwardness and side-splitting laughter.” Using puppetry and physical comedy, from the sublime to the ridiculous, Alex and Olmsted present love and all its quirks this Valentine’s Day.
Alex & Olmsted will perform “HUBBA HUBBA” at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14th in the Goodloe Center at Mountain Empire Community College in conjunction with Pro-Art’s 48th season. Alex & Olmsted is an internationally acclaimed puppet theater and filmmaking company based in Baltimore. “HUBBA HUBBA” is devised by Alex Vernon and Sarah Olmsted Thomas with lighting by Tori Muñoz. This engagement of “HUBBA HUBBA” is made possible in part through the Mid Atlantic Tours program of Mid Atlantic Arts with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
