Join us at the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park in Big Stone Gap, VA and celebrate Southwest Virginia’s rich tradition of old-time, bluegrass, blues, and Americana music. This year’s event is a special celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park and that, coupled with a star-studded main stage lineup, is giving us cause to expect this year’s event to be one of our best!
Memorial Day weekend is the perfect time to wander the park grounds, browse fine regional crafts, and enjoy some good food while listening to premier performers under the stars.
In addition to the evening entertainment, there will be several other opportunities to enjoy the musical traditions of the region throughout the day. The Acoustic Arbor, Competition and “Gathering Place” stages will have performances all afternoon by a variety of musicians and songwriters and are free and open to the public. The event will also offer an induction ceremony for additions to the park’s Walk of Fame, instrument and songwriting competitions, craft vendors and artisans, food vendors, activities for children, and more!
