Town of Appalachia Visitor Center

The Town of Appalachia Visitor Center is conveniently located on Main Street and serves as a point of information and interest for tourists and locals alike. In addition to providing valuable visitor services, the center features an impressive display by the Lonesome Pine Model Railroad Club. The Visitor Center is open May 2^nd though October 31^st (closed for winter). Days and hours of operation are Thursday – Sunday, 12pm – 7pm. Cost to view the Model Railroad is $4 per person, with children 12 and under free.
