The High Knob Naturalist Rally event highlights the importance of restoring and preserving landforms, plants and species that inhabit High Knob and the Jefferson National Forest.
The Clinch Coalition is a local nonprofit that works to protect and maintain the High Knob area. We promote outdoor recreation, environmental education and provide trail work to the area. The rally also promotes outdoor tourism and brings visitors from several states. The event highlights the uniqueness of our mountains and creates a fun-filled day for all. This free, family event is filled with educational hikes, workshops and presentations that celebrate nature and its inhabitants. We are planning to hold the 2023 event at High Knob Lake, as well as some aspects being virtual, unless guidelines change.
